Reservations and Travelling

1. How much notice is required to make a reservation?

Jack & Sons suggests that you book a reservation at least 24 hours in advance to ensure a car will be available. However, we can often provide unscheduled pickups. You may call us or send an email for same-day availability.

2. How much notice is required to cancel a reservation?

Jack & Sons requests that our customers cancel their reservations at least 24 hours in advance (Chrysler limo and horse & carriage minimum 7 days). Cancellations made after the requested time-frame are subject to cancellation fees.

3. May I make a last minute change to my reservation?

Jack & Sons attempts, to the best of its ability, to accommodate last minute changes.

4. For airport pickups, must I reserve a car in advance or can I call for a car once I land?

Jack & Sons can generally provide unscheduled airport pickups. Please call us once you have landed to check our availability. If you would like to ensure availability, we recommend that you book a car in advance.

5. Can the driver come to pick up my luggage and bring it out to the car?

Our drivers will be pleased to assist with your luggage from the time they will pick up you to the time they will take you to your final destination.

Vehicle Issues

1. Must I wear a seat belt in a taxi?

Jack & Sons highly encourages all passengers to buckle their seatbelts while travelling.

2. Must my child be in a child safety/booster seat?

No. Infants and young children are not required by law to be in a safety/booster seat. Children under the age of seven (7) are permitted to sit on an adult's lap.

3. Does Jack & Sons supply infant or booster seats?

Jack & Sons can provide parents with a child safety/booster seat for their child's safety.

4. What are the passenger and luggage capacities of the various vehicles?

Sedans and Luxury Sedans can accommodate up to four passengers with 2 standard size luggages and a small handbag.


1. Can I get a receipt when I pay in cash?

Yes. Your driver will provide you with a cash receipt in the vehicle at the end of your trip. If you forgot to get a receipt in the vehicle you may also call our office at (+357) 7000 5800 any time and request that a receipt be faxed or mailed to you.

2. Is tipping mandatory? Is there a set percentage I must tip?

Any gratuity is at the discretion of the passenger. It is customary to tip a driver 15%-20%.
The fare quoted by a reservationist or on our website does not include the tip amount.

3. May I pay with a personal or business check?

We accept checks that are issued in Cyprus only. We accept cash and all major credit cards, including American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Diners and Discover.

4. Does Jack & Sons charge for waiting time? If so, how is waiting time charged?

Yes. Waiting time charges may be incurred if a passenger arrives late to a pick-up. Waiting time is based on the hourly rate for the particular vehicle. Time spent waiting at additional stops will also be charged as waiting time. We do not charge reasonable waiting time for pick-ups at the airports.

5. Does the fare include waiting time and tip?

No. The fare does not include tip, waiting time or additional stops.

6. How can I pre-pay for a reservation?

You may pre-pay for a reservation by depositing money in one of our bank accounts or at our headquarters by cash or credit card. To pre-pay pay at our headquarters, you may visit us Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM and speak with a customer service representative. We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Diners, and Discover credit cards.

Lost Items

1. If I left a personal item in a Jack & Sons vehicle, how can I get it back?

If you think you have left an item in one of our vehicles, you may report the lost item by contacting our customer service department at (+357) 7000 5800 or by filling out our Lost & Found Form online. A representative will get back to you with regard to the status of your property.
If your item has been found, you may retrieve it at our office located at Agiou Agapitikou, Ypostatika, Kato Paphos.
